Many people criticised her, said she destroyed the song, well obviously there is no pleasing everyone but she outsold Leona and many others so someone must like her. She might be similar because she hasn't done anything yet, so at the moment you only heard her sing previous songs, but remember she is young and she demonstrated that she can sing just about anything, so watch out for her, I think she will become quite a big star. Anyhow, for anyone interested go on YouTube and lookup all versions: Leonard Cohen Hallelujah, Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah and Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah. Alex brought the song into the new century, it is appealing to everyone and is simply amazing, and did I mention the fact that she is quite the eye candy??. Enough said.

An absolutely amazing song performed by Alexandra Burke. Well done for following your dreams. Definately should be a star like Leona Lewis. In one year I reckon you'll have another number 1 hit, I can see it happening. Give this girl some support and buy the record her voice is worth it. good song but doesn't do the original justice it's ashame this will get to christmas number 1 becuase she is a brilliant song but it is a bad song choice i look forward to hearing her enxt single but she doesn't really get to use her vocals alot in this song. Better her than eoghann anyway.

Its a good song but the problem I have is that she is too much like Liona Lewis, could be tricky for her as Liona is a more talented artist.
